Having known Michelle Williams for years as a property manager, and having received good advice from her, we engaged her to list and sell a condominium in Vienna, Virginia. This property had been a rental for nearly 15 years, and Ms. Williams quickly surveyed what needed to be done to prepare it for a top dollar sale. This was particularly important with owners and property separated by a thousand miles, thus requiring precise, frequent, and superior-quality communications. Ms. Williams formulated good options for what (and whether) to do to spruce up the property, recommended excellent contractors to perform the work, and followed up to ensure that the work was done up to the quality agreed. We wound up replacing flooring, all kitchen appliances, some tile, the water heater, and much of the lighting through the apartment. She maintained effective liaison with the contractors, building management, and the condo association, and followed through on every single point. The result? She “pre-advertised” the condo as “coming soon,” and we received an above-asking-price offer (!) on the same day the listing went live. Then she followed up with the selling agent and the closing firms to complete the transaction. We are very happy with Michelle and would without any reservation recommend her for any real-estate-related transaction.
